My super late contribution for “J” is Jaeger from Carla Speed McNeil’s excellent Finder comics.  Poor guy seems to careen from place to place quite a bit, so I thought I’d capture that.
drawing by Caitlin Lehman

I think I originally intended to do something else with this but I just settled on drawing the thing that would result in the most body hair

The fact that she’s only been on deviantart for 11 months and already has over 40,000 pageviews really frustrates other artists who take lots of time in their work and DONT draw annoying sparkledog OC ripoffs. ive been a deviant for over 6 years, with a style that CHANGES and improves, whereas hers does not. yet i dont even have half the fanbase she does.
its just really frustrating.

ok hold on
dude she’s 13, in 6 years time like you she’ll change drastically style wise. idc about the sparkledogs but i drew unvaried and the same all the time at her age, so cut her some slack.
sorry this just really annoys me, cause i was exactly the same as her at 13. what you want her to do is ‘grow up’. she will.

I HATE WHEN A CHILD DRAWS LIKE A CHILD!!!!!! DRAW SHIT I LIKE, CHILD

man i’m really glad that people being upset over teenagers being deviantart popular will never stop being a thing
