I spent a little time today revising comic ideas/outlines and then drawing the characters, for the hell of it. It’s been a while for a couple of these folks! LOOOOOVE inkin’ stuff in sai, gosh.
CHARACTER DOODLES I vomited up this evening at work!
I finally settled on a design for Mally (the owl with the freakishly huge arms) so I don’t feel like changing it every single time I draw her. HOORAY FOR ME!
Still not satisfied with Todd’s outfit, though I think I’ll stick with the stupid fuzzy half-boots. I like nonsensical footwear!
I was having a hard time thinking of REGULAR general use outfits for my characters to wear (besides the ones I already draw them in, anyways) so I drew them in goofy winter outfits instead. Boots with no toes? WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU GUYS.
I like the idea of Griselda having a tail sweater, though. Gonna stick with that, ahaha.
(I’ve been watching so much She-Ra it’s VERY tempting to just have everything I draw wear some stupid barbarian outfit with bracers and exposed legs. I MAY NOT BE ABLE TO HOLD OFF THAT IMPULSE MUCH LONGER)
